99% of the time as a Graphic Designer, you’re creating concepts that other people want and it’s rare that you get a chance to do something experimental or done in a way that doesn’t require the input of everybody in the entire building. Take that scenario and multiply it by a million and you’d understand why they say most designers burn out after five years of working professionally. You essentially feel like you’re just a pair of hands executing other people’s vision. I oftentimes tell other designers to create outside of an assignment so they don’t forget their passion and I realized it’s been a while since I’ve done that myself. That being said, I’m trying to hold myself to designing something void of anybody else’s needs but my own, daily.
